Advanced Placement Examinations

Advanced Placement (AP) Students who have taken AP classes at the high school level may choose to take advanced placement exams to earn college credit. The granting of and amount of college credit earned is determined by the college or university the student will be attending based on the score received on each test.
Information on the Advanced Placement Program can be found on the College Board website.
Students will be notified of the testing dates and registration procedures.

English Language
English Composition
English Literature and Composition
Environmental Science
U.S. Government and Politics
Physics 1 and Physics 2
Spanish Language
Spanish Literature
Studio Art
United States History
*some of our students will opt to take AP examinations for which there is not an associated class at HHS.  These exams include, but are not limited to the following:  European History, Music Theory, and Spanish Language. 

Honors Courses
The high school honors curriculum is designed to provide academic acceleration and enrichment of the able and ambitious student. Although you may take Advanced Placement classes at HHS without having been in an honors class, those students who have been in our honors courses find that the acceleration may better prepare them for the rigors of Advanced Placement coursweork.  .
