Honors Biology
Room: 1230

This accelerated course is designed to provide a CHALLENGING introduction to the biological sciences by investigating the living world.  Highland High School’s Honors Lab Biology program encourages students to be life-long learners and to place their knowledge of biology in a frame of reference that enables them to become active, productive participants in our society.

You can sign up for homework reminders by texting @honlaller to 81010.  My Google Classroom also has links to a Google Drive that hold any materials we do in class.  I always upload a Weekly Course Outline to the Google Calendar and to the calendar here.

About Me

I have been teaching in the district for nine years, in both Biology and Chemistry.  I have a B.S. in Nutrition from ASU and an M.Ed. in Secondary Science Education from NAU.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, hiking, and gardening with my husband and four kids aged 15-21.
