About Me

Started learning Spanish when I was 14 years old living in Chile, South America.  I lived in Chile for about three years.  I returned to Mesa, AZ where I graduated from Westwood High School.  Then I returned to Chile for two more years.

I have a Batchelor's degree in Spanish with a translation endorsement and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction.

My first year of teaching was at Gilbert High where I taught Spanish and French.

Highland has been my teaching home since the school first opened.  I have had the opportunity to teach Spanish I,II,III,and IV.

In addition to Highland, I also taught Spanish at Chandler/ Gilbert Community College for many years.

I love to travel so I have traveled throughout South America and Europe.
