AP Psychology/American History
Room: 5B

I teach two classes. The first is AP Psychology where students learn about the history of psychology, the reasons why we do what we do, and how to understand human nature and psychological concepts. This course culminates in an end of the year AP exam which if the student scores well can earn them college credit. The overall goal for this class is to lead students on a journey of self-discovery so they gain a true sense of who they are. I also teach American History and teach it from a human nature perspective. Students will learn the history of the American nation and will gain an appreciation for why people do what they do and how the mistakes and decisions made in the past affect us today.

About Me

I am in my 2nd year at Highland High School and believe I have found my home. I love Highland and I love teaching. Psychology is my passion and it guides most behaviors in my life. I enjoy working with students and am a very open person. Students will know about me as I come to know about them which creates a positive environment of trust and respect. Teaching is amazing and I am glad I get to do it everyday.
