Leasures Portraits will be on campus tomorrow, 3/30 for senior cap & gown photos in Hawk Hall. Cap and gowns will be provided for you to wear for the photo shoot. If you are planning on purchasing portraits, please bring payment on that day. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Warren in the office.

Seniors!  Are you interested in saving a life?  Tomorrow during cap and gown photos, Banner Hawks will be swabbing for Be the Match.  You will be able to register to help treat patients with blood cancer.  Please consider letting a Banner Hawk swab your cheek cells to put you on the Be the Match Registry!

Come join Highland NHS tomorrow, March 30th, for another great fundraising opportunity. We are going to be heading over to Cane's at 2370 Val Vista Rd. in Gilbert. Cane's will be donating 20% of the proceeds from sales with the fundraiser flyer. See a NHS officer, come to portable 5B or pick one up off the wall as they will be hung around campus. Please come support us as we are raising money for Relay for Life to support cancer research. Every dollar counts. Thanks for your continued support.

The next SPARK Speaker presentation will be Friday, March 31st during both lunch hours. The topic will be Islam in our Society. So, if you are wondering how Islam relates to the other major world religions OR if you want to have a chance to ask questions, join SPARK for Friday lunch.  Get a permission slip in Ms. Sapakie's room or the library. AND if it is returned by Wednesday, you will receive a pizza lunch voucher.

Dual Enrollment Students
Friday, March 31st 

Students if you are planning to take dual credit classes next year and need to take the Accuplacer test, please make sure you turn in your testing slip to Mrs. Guhy in the Front Office as soon as possible.  Testing slips were emailed to your portal account before break.  If you still need a slip, you can pick one up from Mrs. Guhy.

National Honor Society is now accepting applications for the 2017-2018 school year. If you are a current member you do not have to apply again. Applications can be picked up in Portable 5B or from any NHS officer. Ashley Wrigley, Jonattan Alarcon-Benedetto, Jinpyo Seo, Melissa Dubin, Vanessa Strait. Applications are now available. The deadline to turn in your application to Portable 5B is April 5th by 3pm. No applications will be accepted after this deadline.

Cheers to Ms. Sapakie and the SPARK club! They were written about in the Advocate this month (a magazine for Arizona educators). The article featured their club and the Mix It Up Day in the fall. This is the second time recently that teachers from our Highland visual arts department have been highlighted in a state education publication. Kudos to all involved!
